Under the same conditions of use, the killing rate of Cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) on heterotrophic bacteria, iron bacteria and sulfate-reducing bacteria is better than that of dialkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride and dialkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium bromide and other commonly used quaternary ammonium salt fungicides.
